DeFi

Decentralized finance (DeFi) is on-chain lending, trading, and market-making without a traditional intermediary. You still take risk: code, oracle, liquidity, and governance risk.

Impermanent loss, liquidation, and contract exploits are normal failure modes, not rare footnotes.

Connecting a wallet to a DeFi app and signing an approval can let that contract move tokens later. Set limited allowances when you can.

Yield numbers on dashboards are not guaranteed. If a rate looks impossible, assume you do not understand the risk yet, and do not deposit.
